Thales MissionLINK
Device Summary
The Thales MissionLINK is a satellite communication terminal that supports both satellite and cellular networks for voice and data in remote locations. It integrates with GSatTrack so users can monitor and manage assets while staying connected.
Setup
Add to Tracking Portal
Go to the Navigation menu and click on ‘Add Item.’
Click on ‘Add Asset’
Fill out the information for the required fields, which are:
- Name
- Device - Choose “Thales” and “MissionLINK”
- IMEI/Unit #/Device ID
Fill out the information for any other optional fields
Click on ‘Create Asset’
MissionLINK/VesselLINK Setup
Log in to the terminal’s admin screen via this link.
Select “Settings” and then “Location Services.”
For “Set Enable,” choose “Enabled.”
For the “Server,” choose “protocolparser.com,” and for “Port,” type in “4820”
Note !
“Permit Background Data” should also be “Enabled” via the “Settings” > ”Data screen.”
