Alert Acknowledgement

Feature Summary

Alert Acknowledgement lets users formally acknowledge a triggered alert and record how it was resolved. This adds accountability to alert workflows and keeps a record of who responded and what action was taken.

How to Use

Note!

Alerts have to be added with specific settings and rules before they can be triggered and acknowledged. If “Requires Acknowledgment” is checked to “Yes” then the alert will appear until it is acknowledged in the portal. See the "Add Alert" page for more information.

How-To: Acknowledge Alerts

  1. When an alert is triggered, an orange popup window will appear below the “Map Mode Indicator”

  2. Click the “Show Position” button to be transported to the location where the alert was triggered

  3. Click the “view details” button in the “Position Report” to see what triggered the alert

  4. Click the “Acknowledge” button to silence the alert

  5. Type in the steps taken to resolve the issue in the “Resolution” box

  6. Click “Alternative Ack.” or “Acknowledge” depending on your internal procedures
