Feature Summary

Groups let you categorize assets, users, or devices into logical sets based on criteria such as asset type, location, department, or operational function. This lets you manage and monitor multiple assets and users together from one place.

How to Use

How-To: Group Assets

  1. Go to the navigation menu and click on ‘Add Item’

  2. Click on ‘Add Asset Group’

  3. Fill out the following information:

    1. Required

      1. Name
    2. Optional

      1. Color
      2. Parent
      3. Message Destination ID
  4. Select the desired ‘Users’

  5. Choose the desired ‘Assets’

  6. Click on ‘Create group’

How-To: Edit Asset Groups

  1. Go to the navigation menu and click on ‘Assets’
  2. Click on the ‘Group Options’ icon next to the desired asset group
  3. Click on ‘Edit Group’ and make the desired changes
  4. Click on ‘Save Changes’

How-To: Delete Asset Groups

  1. Go to the navigation menu and click on ‘Assets’
  2. Click on the ‘Group Options’ icon next to the desired asset group
  3. Click on ‘Delete Group’
  4. Click the ‘Delete’ button on the popup window
