Feature Summary

The US Weather Radar Map Layer overlays National Weather Service (NWS) data on GSatTrack, showing precipitation, severe weather, and atmospheric conditions across the United States. This gives users situational awareness to respond to changing weather and reduce risk.

How-To: Enable Map Layers: US Weather Radar

  1. Go to the Map Mode Indicator in the top right hand corner of the portal and click on “Layers”

  2. Click on “US Weather Radar”

  3. Interact with the new map data

How-To: Disable Map Layers: US Weather Radar

  1. Go to the Map Mode Indicator in the top right hand corner of the portal and click on “Layers”

  2. Click on “US Weather Radar”

  3. US Maritime data will no longer be visible
