Canned Message Groups

Feature Summary

Canned Message Groups let you organize canned messages into named groups for quicker access. This is useful when messaging needs are diverse and you want predefined messages readily available for specific devices (for example, NAL Shout).

How to Use

How-To: Add Canned Message Groups

  1. Go to the navigation menu and click on ‘Add Item’

  2. Click on ‘Canned Message Group’

  3. Fill in the required fields

    1. Name
  4. Click ‘Create Canned Message Group’

How-To: Edit Canned Message Groups

  1. Go to the navigation menu and click on ‘Manage’
  2. Click on ‘Canned Message Groups’
  3. Click on the ‘Edit’ icon next to the desired canned message
  4. Edit the ‘Name’ field as desired
  5. Click ‘Save Changes’

How-To: Delete Canned Message Groups

  1. Go to the navigation menu and click on ‘Manage’
  2. Click on ‘Canned Message Groups’
  3. Click on the ‘Delete’ icon next to the desired canned message
  4. Click ‘Delete’ on the popup window
