MCG-101 v2 Samba Functionality
Samba
Samba is a service that allows interoperability between Unix, GNU/Linux and Mac with Windows networking. The default configuration of Samba on the MCG-101 uses the guest account and shares the SBD inbox and outbox directories via Windows networking.

Disabling SAMBA
Samba can be disabled in the MCG-101 user interface by:
Open the MCG-101 User Interface
Select the ‘System’ dropdown menu and click on ‘Startup’
Click the ‘Enabled’ button to disable Samba
Connecting to the MCG-101 from Windows
- Open File Explorer (“Windows Explorer” in older versions of Windows)
- In File Explorer click on the Quick Access Bar and type in two backslashes followed by the IP address of your MCG-101: ex \192.168.4.1
