Flashing New Firmware

Follow these steps to update the firmware:

Navigate to System → Backup / Flash Firmware
Under the “Backup” section, click “Generate Archive” and save the backup file to your computer.
Click the “Flash Image…” button. This will prompt you to browse for and select the firmware image from your computer.
Example, gse_mcg-101-v2_firmware-v3.0.9.bin
Next, click “Upload” to upload the firmware image to the MCG-101.
When uploading is completed, and the image is verified, click the checkboxes and the “Continue” button.

CAUTION!

Do not unplug your MCG-101 until this has completed. After clicking Continue, failure to wait for at least 5 minutes for the flashing to complete may require an RMA process to recover.

6. When it restarts, the green LED will flash for between one to two minutes. When it stops blinking and stays on, then flashing will have completed and the MCG-101 will be ready to use again. Overall this can take up to 5 minutes.
