Pulling Diagnostics Data

To pull diagnostics data from your device, follow these steps:

  1. Home Screen Selection: From the Home Screen, tap on "Connect to device". The app will then display a list of all available devices within range.

  1. Device Selection: Choose the correct device from the presented list.
  2. Automatic Connection: The app will automatically establish a connection with the selected device.

Once the GSatSolar Configuration Tool has successfully connected to the device, proceed with the following:

  1. Select Diagnose Tile: Select the tile labeled "Diagnose". Please wait for the app to fetch the device details.

Note!

Diagnostics allow our GSE Support Team to better diagnose devices and provide customers with a high-level overview of their device.

  1. Share Diagnostics: To share the diagnostics data, you have two options:

    • Share via Other Apps/People: Click the button on the left to share the device_id.txt diagnostics file with an account manager or any compatible app or person.
    • Save to Folder: Click the button on the right to either save the file to the app's default folder storage or choose a designated location on your device.
