Panels
Feature Summary
Panels help users navigate through the user interface (UI), access important data, and manage a number of items.
Additional Information
There are multiple panels users will interact with regularly within the GSatTrack portal:
- Navigation Panel - The Navigation Panel offers several items and features for users to interact with and functions as the starting point for managing items, accessing data, and running reports.The Navigation Panel only contains icons which helps users navigate to specific Items and data within the List Panel and Details Panel.
- List Panel - The List Panel lists out all Items under that specific feature and allows the user to sort and search the list using filtered terms. Items can be hidden or made visible in the list panel and may contain additional information depending on what kind of Item was selected.
- Details Panel - The Details Panel will provide additional data on the selected Item. Items like Assets may provide information on the Details Panel like notifications for Positions, Alerts, Events, Status, Chat, Messages, Activity Logs, and more. The exact information available on the Details Panel will depend on the Item selected, additional features interacting with that Item, and information added in the system by the user or users.
- Information Panel - The information panel shows up as a pop up box when a user clicks on an object when viewing the map.
How to Use
How-To Access
- Navigation Panel - The Navigation Panel appears on the left side of the user interface.
- List Panel - The List Panel is accessed from selecting an Item in the Navigation Panel and appears directly to the right of it.
- Details Panel - The Details Panel appears after clicking on the Item Options icon in the List Panel.
