The Groups feature allows users to categorize assets, users, or devices into logical groups, enabling efficient organization and management. These groups can be based on various criteria, such as asset type, location, department, or operational function. The feature provides a unified platform for managing and monitoring multiple assets and users simultaneously, making it an essential component of GSatTrack's functionality.
How to Use
How-To: Group Assets
Go to the navigation menu and click on ‘Add Item’
Click on ‘Add Asset Group’
Fill out the following information:
Required
- Name
Optional
- Color
- Parent
- Message Destination ID
Select the desired ‘Users’
Choose the desired ‘Assets’
Click on ‘Create group’
How-To: Edit Asset Groups
- Go to the navigation menu and click on ‘Assets’
- Click on the ‘Group Options’ icon next to the desired asset group
- Click on ‘Edit Group’ and make the desired changes
- Click on ‘Save Changes’
How-To: Delete Asset Groups
- Go to the navigation menu and click on ‘Assets’
- Click on the ‘Group Options’ icon next to the desired asset group
- Click on ‘Delete Group’
- Click the ‘Delete’ button on the popup window
