Nested Groups in GSatTrack enable users to create groups within groups, forming a hierarchical structure for organizing assets based on various criteria such as location, function, or department. This feature enhances the organization and visibility of assets, offering a more granular approach to group management.
How to Use
How-To: Use Nested Groups
- Go to the Navigation menu and click on “Assets”
- Click on the “Group Options” button next to the desired Asset Group
- Click on the “Add Subgroup” button
- Fill in required and desired optional information fields
- Click the “Create Subgroup” button
How-To: Delete Nested Groups
- Go to the Navigation menu and click on “Assets”
- Click on the “Group Options” button next to the desired Asset Group
- Click on “Delete Subgroup”
- Click on the “Delete” button in the pop-up window
